My Mother was underage at my conception and birth

Mom conceived me when she was sixteen, Daddy was twenty- one she wasn't raped , we weren't an FLDS family but still I know I had benefits from having younger parents, my hair is not as gray as that of my younger brothers for one thing I am healthier, I have the benefit of young parents and Grandparents, children conceived by older parents can have serious problems like Downs syndrome, God does intend for us all to begin childbearing at a young age but it should not be forced and arranged marriages aren't right either, our natural attractions lead us to the true love that God intends for us.
I think what happened in Texas to the children of the FLDS was tragic but I am not positive of what is the perfect solution in this matter. I just know you never want the law or the courts or CPS getting involved in your family life.
Families are covenanted relationships, the future might not be so bright for these confiscated children, foster children are often simply dumped into the Job Corps when they turn eighteen years old and the Job Corps is also the same place the juvenile courts send juvenile delinquents once they turn eighteen.
I am not convinced that the state of Texas will do the right thing for these children or their families even if the right thing is what they want to do.
